Scarlett Miele wins NJAC Girls Championship, Paige Weiss reaches 100 win mark

This past weekend, we had two girls compete for their respective high schools at the North Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Girls Tournament at Vernon High School.  Paige Weiss of Sparta/Jefferson began the tournament as the 1 seed and Scarlett Miele of Parsippany-Troy Hills was the 3 seed. Both girls battled their way to the finals of the tournament, Paige reaching the 100 wins mark in her semifinal match, an awesome accomplishment. This was a rematch of a dual that the high schools had within the past week, where Paige came out victorious, pinning Scarlett in the second period.  Scarlett won this second meeting by a score of 7-3 capturing the NJAC title as a freshman.

Congrats to both wrestlers for finishing in the top two spots in your weight class.

Logan Forgatch reaches 100 win milestone as a Junior at Parippany-Troy High School!!
